Students Develop Touch Typing and Word Processing Skills
Welcome to the Sacred Heart School 2nd grade computer lab class.
2nd Grade technology lessons focus on typing, word processing, spreadsheets, coding, research, and presentations throughout the year.
In the 1st trimester, students continue developing typing skills using the home row keys. Students also improve their writing skills through word processing. Students write friendly letters taking care to use appropriate capitalization, spelling, word spacing, and punctuation.
Below you will find the lesson plans used during computer class. The entire curriculum is online, so parents and students can access the material at home on their own computers.

This is a graphic organizer for students to write an "All About Me" narrative paper.
Students write about things they like, some of their friends, give some fun facts about themselves, and tell about things they can do.
